Chestnut Flour Sample Pack

Try our chestnut flour in five different flavors/treatments: Raw, Original, Fresh-Roasted, Salted Caramel, and Smoked. Each is made 100% from chestnuts. The salted caramel roast may contain trace amounts of salt. Each sample pack contains 1.5lbs of each type of flour. We would love your feedback on the different flavor options, and we can make your favorite flavor to order.

Short descriptions:

Raw: Not roasted at any stage of the process. Flour is sweet and light with aromas of dried fruit

Original: Made from dry-roasted chestnuts. Our original flour recipe that we have been making since the 1990s.

Fresh-Roasted: Made from chestnuts roasted fresh in the shell before drying and milling. Hints of that fresh-roasted chestnut flavor

Salted Caramel: A complex roasting process produces this unique flavor profile. Rich caramel sweetness, a hint of saltiness, and coffee-like bitterness balanced by fruit and vanilla flavors. It really is just made with chestnuts and a hint of salt early in the process. Can be made into a coffee-like hot beverage (without caffeine!).

Smoked: Made from fresh chestnuts smoked in the shell before drying and milling. Flour is distinctly smokey and fruity. Goes well with meat and savory foods.
